Coach Blocker's coaching career began at Hammond High School in 1991, continued with Covington High School in 1997, and he has been a Bulldog since 2009. Coach Blocker is married to the former Tammy Cantelli of Kenner and has two children, Mason (FHS Class of 2015) and Whitney, who serves as a stat girl for the Bulldogs.

Marines in 1993, Coach Gremillion finished his degree at SLU where he played college football. After playing at SLU, Coach Gremillion has coached in Loranger, Mandeville, Hammond, and Ponchatoula. Coach Gremillion received his Master’s degree from Arkansas State University in 2012. He has been married to the former Monique Mathon of Mandeville. Together they
have two boys Curtis and Tyler.
Running Backs Coach
David Dragg graduated from Covington High, then SLU. Together with his wife Angela they have three children: Quinton, Becca, and Mary Jo. He teaches Algebra I and coaches various sports. Before
University and began his career as a Teacher and Coach. He has two children, Hailey and Carsen.
He is very excited to play a vital role in the development of young men as leaders in the classroom as well as on the field. He believes athletics can be used to teach lessons that can be used to help student athletes become great members of the community in the future. Coach Tassin is married to his beautiful wife Kaci, and they have two incredible children, Paige and Tripp who are eager to be future bulldogs.
Travis Hunt is entering his 5th season at FHS. He is in his first season as the defensive line coach. In 2002, he graduated from Covington High School as an All- District Defensive End. In 2012 he graduated from Southeastern Louisiana
Darryl Tassin is beginning his 6th year as Freshman Football Coach. He is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelors degree in Secondary Math Education.
Phillip Banko comes to the Bulldog program with an abundance of coaching experience that includes defensive line stints with the Cleveland Browns, the University of Miami and the NFL Europe Berlin Thunder. He served as Defensive
and 4x2 relay teams in 2011 when the Bulldogs were District Champions. He is currently enrolled full time and is pursuing a B.A. degree in Kinesiology and Health Studies at Louisiana State University. Dustin plans to graduate from LSU in the Spring of 2017.

Ryan Dieck will be entering his third year with the Bulldogs, with 8 total years of coaching experience at the high school level. Coach Dieck previously coached 4 years at Union Parish High School in Farmerville, LA,
Brett Dufrene is beginning his second season with Fontainebleau High School as a ninth grade coach and assists with offensive and defensive lines for varsity. He is married to the former Mitzi Matthew.

James Duplesis brings a variety of football experience, both as a player and a coach to the defensive back coaching position. Duplessis completed four seasons as Covington High School defensive back coach, Including four Class 5A playoffs

Chris Nelson is currently in his 7th year of serving as the Head Freshmen Football coach at Fontainebleau High School. He also served in the same capacity for 3 years at Lutcher High School.
They have two sons, Blake and Dale. He is a 1988 graduate of Riverdale High School where he lettered in football and a 2010 graduate of LSUE with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Fire and Emergency Services. He is currently employed with St. George Fire Department and holds the rank of Captain.

compiling a 45-8 record, 4 consecutive district championships, and winning the Class 3A State Championship in 2013 as the Defensive Backs and Special Teams coach. Dieck played his high school ball at Slidell High, graduating in 2006. He attended Louisiana Tech University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Analysis in 2010, and a Master of Arts in Teaching in 2014. While attending LA Tech, he was also a member of the Rugby team. Coach Dieck resides in Slidell with his fiancee, Ashley, and their dogs Molly and Duke.
He serves as an Administrative Assistant at Fontainebleau High School. "I find a great reward in introducing young players to competitive football and watching them move on to contributing members of both the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams here at FHS. I see my job as preparing young men for future Friday Nights!" He is married to Lenora Nelson, his wife of 23 years, who is a math teacher and the Gifted Department Head at Fontainebleau High School. They are blessed to have two sons. The oldest, Cade, is an engineering student at LSU as well as a member of the tenor section of the drumline in the Golden Band from Tiger Land. The youngest, Dawson, is a junior quarterback on the Fontainebleau football team as well as a member of the track team.

Dustin Johnson is beginning his 2nd season as Wide Receiver coach. He is an alumni of FHS where he lettered in football and track. He earned All-District honors at Wide Receiver in 2012 and ran on the 4x1
Stephen J. Gremillion, Jr. has been coaching at FHS for 7 years with 19 years of experience. Coach Gremillion was born in Covington, La. and graduated from Mandeville High School. After getting out of the
Coordinator/Linebackers Coach at the University of West Georgia. His NFL and College accomplishments include the 2002 AFC Wild Card Game and helped the Hurricanes to three consecutive bowl appearances including a Sugar Bowl victory over Florida and a consensus No. 2 national ranking (2001 Sugar Bowl, 2000 Gator Bowl, 1999 Micron PC Bowl). Banko’s high school accomplishments include Head Coach/Athletic Director, East St. John High School, making the state playoffs each year including two district championships and one district runner-up, as well as, signing 16 players to college scholarships during his tenure. Banko has three state championship rings with stints at John Curtis and Archbishop Shaw. Banko holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Miami, and has lived in St. Tammany Parish for over 12 years. Banko comes to Fountainebleau High School from East Jefferson High School where he coached football, weightlifting and track. Banko, a native of Belle Chasse, and his wife Laurie have one daughter, Courtney Grace.
